MEASURE DHS works to put high-quality survey data into the hands of program managers, health care providers, policymakers, country leaders, researchers, members of the media, and others who can act to improve public health.

		STATcompiler
	Build customized tables from hundreds of DHS surveys and indicators. STATcompiler accesses nearly all of the population and health indicators that are published in DHS final reports. Other STATcompiler related tools include: STATcompiler Express Quickly select up to 10 indicators from a list of the 30 most requested STATcompiler indicators and create a table to compare the most recent surveys available. Country QuickStats View a quick list of key indicators from recent surveys for a country.

		STATmapper
	Create GIS maps based on MEASURE DHS data found in the STATcompiler database.

		HIV/AIDS Survey Indicators Database
	Build customized tables of HIV/AIDS survey indicators with data from multiple sources including DHS, MICS, BSS, and other surveys. The database can also generate comprehensive country reports.

		HIVmapper
	Create GIS maps based on MEASURE DHS data found in the HIV/AIDS Survey Indicators Database.

MEASURE DHS Datasets

MEASURE DHS is authorized to distribute at no cost, unrestricted survey data files for legitimate academic research. Registration is required for access to data.

Guide to DHS Statistics

A reference guide is available to help users who work with DHS survey indicators and datasets to better understand indicator definitions and the calculations used to generate the data.

DHS Recode Manual

DHS datasets contain standardized data variables. The DHS Recode Manual provides a reference guide to understand and work with these variables.
